I'm looking to start a clothing line. How did you start? And what pointers would you give starting ground up?

It sounds common sense but I created my “brand” first. Meaning, I figured out what I wanted my brand to be, and who I wanted my customers to be, and started making designs. It sounds simple, but that’s really it. For anyone starting up I would say do your best to perfect your craft, and be the best at whatever it is you do. Don’t look for shortcuts. Put in the time to get genuinely better, and don’t create a brand with the sole intention of “getting rich”. Build it the right way, and with the right mind set and everything else will fall into place.
